Is Tyson Foods really shifting away from meat production?

Good news for advocates of lowering our consumption of meat. One of the world's largest meat producers, Tyson Foods, seems to be jumping on the meatless revolution. Tyson CEO Tom Hayes explained to Fox Business that a focus on plant-based protein is becoming a huge opportunity for his industry. "Plant-based protein is growing almost, at this point, a little faster than animal-based, so I think the migration may continue in that direction." The company is already looking to the future with its 5% stake in Beyond Meat, a plant-based burger producer.
