Jamie Lynn Spears Still Healing After Maddie's Brush With Death

It’s been one month since Jamie Lynn Spears‘ daughter, Maddie Aldridge, was airlifted to a nearby hospital for a near-fatal ATV crash.
Jamie, Britney Spears‘ younger sister, posted an emotional message to her fans on March 5 that showed she’s still trying to cope with what happened at this time last month.
A month ago, at this time, I was living a mothers/anyones worst nightmare happening right infront of my eyes, helplessly….Fastforward- Today, we were able to celebrate the baptism of our sweet Kylie Blair. I’m not one to preach, but we were shown God’s grace, and we still feel undeserving of His mercy. I’ll never stop thanking each of you for your prayers, because we recognize the miracle it created. We are beyond blessed, and we will NEVER forget y’all, and God’s unbelievable mercy ❤️❤️ #Godisgood

As Star readers know, the 8-year-old was on a hunting trip when the off-road vehicle she was in flipped into a body of water. Maddie was submerged and trapped in water for several minutes after Jamie and her husband tried to free her. She was finally pulled out of water when paramedics showed up. She was released from the hospital after 5 days when she woke up and began talking again.
