Not all heroes wear capes. Tom Hanks sent an unexpected gift to the journalists working in the White House press room on Thursday. The actor sent the White House press corps a new espresso maker, replacing the one he gifted reporters in 2010. The new machine was sent along with a note of encouragement. The note read: "To the White House Press Corps. Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Especially for the Truth part." Reporters at the White House shared pictures of the new machine, a stainless steel Pasquini coffee maker, through social media with their thanks to Hanks.
