Sessions did not disclose meetings with Russian ambassador

Donald Trump’s attorney general Jeff Sessions spoke twice with the Russian ambassador to the United States during the presidential campaign. The Washington Post, citing justice department officials, reported that Sessions met with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak twice last year, in July and September, when US intelligence officials were investigating Russian interference in the presidential election. At his Jan. 10 Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing, Sessions was asked by Sen. Al Franken He responded.
