Octopus gives man's foot a 'hug' in South Africa

A cool video has emerged of an octopus leaping at a GoPro camera near Amatola Coastal in South Africa.

The footage, shot last year, shows the octopus using its tentacles to grab a piece of sardine before it tries to catch the camera.

The cephalopod then grabs the filmer's foot and wraps itself around it.

"The octopus was keen on the sardine, and then took a particular liking to me foot. Or perhaps it was giving me a hug of thanks," he wrote online.
