Political scientist Lara Brown is an expert on presidential aspirants and elections from the 1790s to the present.
Her books include Jockeying for the American Presidency: The Political Opportunism of Aspirants and The Presidential Leadership Dilemma. She has analyzed how ready presidents have been to serve in the Oval Office.
