Kevin Durant has Grade 2 MCL sprain, may return in regular season

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant has a Grade 2 MCL sprain and a tibial bone bruise. There is no timetable for his return though it is possible that he will play again in the regular season. Durant, one of the Warriors four All-Stars, left the team's game last night in the first quarter after teammate Zaza Pachulia accidentally fell on Durant's knee. Durant was ruled out of returning to the game almost immediately with a hyperextended left knee. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Warriors initially feared they would not have Durant for the remainder of the regular season and possibly longer.
