Katy Perry makes another politically charged performance at the Brit Awards
  • 7 years ago
Following her performance at the Grammys, Katy Perry performed the song "Chained to the Rhythm" at the Brit Awards again. This time, the performance involved two giant skeletons resembling President Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May. The skeleton puppets were dressed in outfits similar to what Trump and May were wearing during their meeting in the White House in January. The skeletons also held hands at one point, referencing the photos of Trump and May holding hands after the meeting. In the previous performance of "Chained to the Rhythm", Perry was backed by a large fence, which broke apart at the end, with a picture of the Constitution shown over the set.
