Everything you need to know about President Donald Trump's new executive order on immigration: The new order will still place a temporary ban on refugees from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan and Libya. The selection of these countries comes from an Obama administration recommendation. The new order will not apply to green card holders from the seven selected countries (the original order did). Those traveling during the time the new order begins will not be detained at the airport and deported. Refugees citing religious persecution will not receive special consideration (the first order gave preferential treatment to Christian refugees). The new executive order is expected by the end of the week.
