Amazon will be opening their new grocery store in Seattle some time this year and yes, it will have a liquor license. The new store is supposed to revolutionize how grocery stores work, with no cashiers and instead shoppers will check in on their phones when entering the store. The app will then track what the customer walks out with and charge their Amazon account accordingly. However, despite not having cashiers, there will still be staff on hand to help customers and also check IDs when someone tries to buy alcohol.
