George Clooney has finally opened up about becoming a father in his 50’s.

That’s right, the Oscar winner was on a French TV show when asked, and he said he and Amal are really happy and really excited. He added that it’s going to be an adventure and they’ve sort of embraced it all… with arms wide open.

Only thing is, his friends can’t help but tease him about becoming a dad this stage in his life.

The way George put it is, his favorite part is that all his friends who are his age, they’re kids are already grown up and away at college and they’re laughing at him.

In fact, when he was at dinner recently, his pals were being very supportive and telling him everything is going to be great and he’s going to love it. Then things got really quiet and they all just started making baby crying noises and the whole table just busted up laughing.

Clooney wrapped up the interview by saying that the babies are going to change a lot of things but that’s OK – that’s life.

Still no word on when the twins are due, but there are reports that June will be the lucky month.
