In order to fight crony capitalism and corruption, author Anne Munro-Kua believes that the government needs to tackle racism and create a level-playing field for all Malaysians. She says this means opening up all education institutions to students regardless of ethnicity, and encouraging dialogue between people of different racial backgrounds and political persuasions.
