New York City Needs More Love
Valentine's Day is a special day to celebrate a meaningful relationship with someone you care about most. We achieve that through buying gifts, flowers, and saying I love you to that special someone. To those not in a special relationship, there can be pressure and feeling awkward to still do something meaningful on Valentine's Day. They might go to a singles party with friends, they might go out with someone they just started dating.
But, what if you cared most about a city you love and all the different people living in and visiting that city that make it special for you. Shouldn't you celebrate Valentine's Day with that city and all those people that make it a special place?
I'm a big believer that even the smallest act of kindness can create a lot of positive good, and I'm sure we all have seen how good and positive even the smallest positive gesture can make us feel, and we reflect that positive energy back out into the world.
I've seen NYC go through lots of ups and downs, and we're all in this together, whether it be on the streets of NYC or in our social media feeds, wanting to do good and achieve better.
Thank you Ipek Civicakan for helping create this video.
