A designer has come up with a novel venue for her first ever show at New York Fashion Week, renting a school bus to use as a catwalk and parking it outside shows of top designers such as Oscar de la Renta. Buenos Aires-born artist Amanda Mehl showed off her collection at a cost of just $2,000, in stark contrast with Fashion Week productions that can sometimes cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
