LAHORE: A bomb explosion in Charing Cross, near Punjab Assembly claims nine lives on Monday evening, Aaj News reported.
According to reports, the blast occurred when a protest against the ‘drug act’ was underway from pharmaceutical manufacturers and members.
DIG traffic Lahore Capt Mubeen, SSP Zahid Gondal including seven other people embraced martyrdom during the blast while 46 others have been severely injured, Rescue teams reported.
The explosion occurred right between the DSNG van of Aaj Tv and a police van, our correspondent said.
