Anti-police brutality protesters in Paris’s Menilmontant neighborhood lit fires on the streets on February 8 in defiance of police officers.The fires were lit by small groups amid widespread protests over the suspected rape and use of excessive force during the arrest of a man, named only as “Theo,” in Aulnay-sous-Bois on February 2.
