Matt Damon Moved to Tears With Clooney Baby News

The whole world knows George and Amal Clooney are expecting twins, but when you heard, did you cry about it? Matt Damon did.
Damon tells ET Canada about how his good buddy, Clooney, broke the news to him. The actor says, “I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying… I was so happy for him.”
Of course, Damon has been down the fatherhood road before, so he knew some ground rules.
He tells ET Canada, “I was like, ‘How far along is she?’ And he goes ‘Eight weeks,’ and I’m like ‘Are you out of your mind? Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?!”
While Clooney clearly had to brush up on his pregnancy protocol, Damon is convinced he’s going to be a great Dad. He reportedly says, “I’m thrilled for him… They’re gonna be great. They’re gonna be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky?”
So far, twins are 2017’s hottest accessory.
