Pollinator Drone Is Here To Save Us From The ‘Beepocalypse’

by Andrew CaringiThe beepocalype is here and it’s destroying all of our beautiful flowers. Luckily, an insect-sized drone is here as a robotic replacement. The drone is equipped with powerful ionic gel on its underside. With it, the drone can pick up pollen from one flower and deposit it into another. As bee populations continue to decline worldwide, farming is becoming more difficult. Researchers from Japan hope their drone will help farmers who are suffering as a result. That’s bee-utiful news.
