HOUSTON — The New England Patriots are Super Bowl 51 champions after pulling off an epic comeback against the Atlanta Falcons.

In front of a packed stadium, Super Bowl 51 kicked off with a special guest coin toss by George Bush.

Devonta Freeman came out of the gates blazing with a huge first run, but then for the rest of the 1st quarter impressive defense from both squads kept the game scoreless.

The Falcons went off in the 2nd quarter with big plays from star receiver Julio Jones. Freeman put Atlanta on the board first by punching it in with some nice running before Ryan was able to add a second strike connecting with Hooper in the endzone. Robert Alford then had an impressive Brady pick 6 before the half.

But just as everyone counted the Pats out, Brady showed everyone why he’s the G.O.A.T.

Dwight Freeney and Martellus Bennett decided to join up for a little bit.

Julian Edelman then came up with the catch of the game.

In the 2nd half, Brady led his team down the field again and again to tie the game at 28 all and send the Super Bowl into its first ever overtime.

The Falcons then did their best to channel their inner Warriors and Indians as the Pats won the game 34 - 28.

Congrats to the Super Bowl champs the New England Patriots.
