A security guard has shot and killed an Afghan diplomat in Pakistan's Karachi on Monday, officials confirmed. The diplomat died of his wounds shortly after the shooting, the consulate's third secretary Mohammad Zaki Abdu said. The assailant, an Afghan national, has been taken into custody and will be questioned by authorities. While the motive behind the shooting remains unknown, officials believe it was due to a persoanl issue.
