Greek farmers blocked roads with their tractors in Thessaloniki on Saturday in protest at austerity measures.

The protest was part of a national action in opposition to recent increases in the taxes and social security contributions that farmers pay.

Farmers have already used their tractors to block key road junctions in central and northern Greece. |
