Kristen Stewart 'Bites the Bullet' to Overcome Fears of Hosting SNL

Kristen Stewart can teach everyone a thing or two about overcoming fear!

The actress is finally ready to host Saturday Night Live, but it’s certainly not the first time she’s been offered the gig.

She tells The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, “For six years, I’ve just been being a total wuss about it and then I finally was like, at some point, you just have to bite the bullet, you know?”

Obviously Kristen hasn’t been the most sociable actress in her generation, and has been often criticized for seeming overly shy and cold in public.

Now that Kristen has spent a week preparing for her live performance, she feels the experience has been “really really fun.” But if worse comes to worse, she also says failing will “make you stronger, man.”

In 2010 she reportedly told E! News that the idea of hosting SNL was appealing but “really, really scary… I am so critical of myself and then also of people who are on the show… It’s like, ‘Nope, you’re not funny – next!’”

We’re sure Kristen will do just fine.
