Sarah Silverman Walks Back Violent-Inciting Tweet
  • 7 years ago
Sarah Silverman is slowly walking back her violent-inciting tweet, after she was accused of calling for a military coup against President Trump.

She wrote that fear can motivate even peacenik snowflakes to incite violence and last night she felt it hard. Trying to keep in check because damnit, she loves you America.

It came after she received a storm of backlash from social media users… who accused her of wanting to start a civil war and of committing treason.

Some even went so far to call her an Enemy of the State.

For those of you who missed it, Sarah got in some hot water for posting this tweet. She asked her nearly 10 million followers to wake up and join the resistance. Once the military is with us, fascists get overthrown. Mad king and his handlers go bye bye.

She posted the tweet amid the violent riots that broke out in Berkeley California, after a conservative commentator was booked to speak at the UC Berkeley campus.

She has yet to tweet anything thus far.
