Trump Tweets: Iran 'Formally Put On Notice' After Missile Launch

In a series of posts on Twitter Wednesday and Thursday, President Trump lashed out at Iran.

Hours after President Trump's National Security Adviser Michael Flynn said during a press conference that Iran was being put "on notice" following a recent ballistic missile launch, Trump posted a series of tweets lashing out at the country.
Trump wrote Wednesday evening, "Iran is rapidly taking over more and more of Iraq even after the U.S. has squandered three trillion dollars there. Obvious long ago!"
He then followed up with several more tweets early Thursday morning, noting, "Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile. Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them!"
Trump continued, "Iran was on its last legs and ready to collapse until the U.S. came along and gave it a life-line in the form of the Iran Deal: $150 billion."
According to CNN, "Flynn argued that the test-firing of the missile on Sunday was a breach of a UN Security Council resolution. Iran denied that the launch infringed the resolution, which bars the testing of nuclear-capable missiles."
