Mohammad Zubair takes oath as Governor of Sindh

KARACHI: Mohammad Zubair sworn in as 32nd Governor of Sindh on Thursday, ARY News reported.

Chief Justice of Sindh High Court Syed Sajjad Ali Shah administered oath to the new governor in the oath-taking ceremony at Governor House here.

Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah attended the oath taking ceremony.

Minister of State for Information Marriyum Orangzeb, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Corps Commander Karachi, Director General Rangers Sindh, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Danial Aziz and MQM leaders Farooq Sattar and Khawaja Izhar were present on the occasion.

Mohammad Zubair Umar was born on 23rd March 1956 to a military family in Abbottabad. One of his siblings Asad Umar is a prominent figure in opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
