Adapted from the Lois Gould short story, Baby X tells the story of an extraordinary child raised without gender and the community reaction to the parents decision. The story first appeared in Ms. Magazine in July 1972 and quickly became one of the most celebrated and iconic works of the unisex era and has since been republished, adapted and shared across dozens of publications and platforms.
