The Lotus 49 was a Formula One racing car designed by Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe for the 1967 F1 season. I get to speak with Clive Chapman, the son of the designer of the Lotus 49 Colin Chapman and Managing director of Classic Team Lotus. There are only 7 examples of these cars and this was the first time all were under the same roof at Autosport International.
