Fox NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews reveals she battled cancer this season

NFL on Fox sideline reporter Erin Andrews revealed she was diagnosed with cervical cancer and had successful surgery during the season in a story from Sports Illustrated's The MMQB. Andrews didn’t initially share her diagnosis with her coworkers, and continued to keep working hard at what she loved the most — sportscasting. "I'm not watching any football games at home," Andrews told her doctor. "This is (Fox’s) Super Bowl year, and I'm not missing the Super Bowl." In mid-November, Andrews was told that her margins were clear and that there would be no need for radiation or chemotherapy.
