Goldman Sachs countersues Indonesian businessman for $1B

Goldman Sachs filed a counter lawsuit against an Indonesian businessman for $1 billion, who is seeking damages for "unlawful" trades. Benny Tjokrosaputro, president director of an Indonesian property developer, filed a lawsuit against Goldman Sachs International. The bank filed a counterclaim against Tjokrosaputro for ruining the firm's reputation and causing a "negative business impact." Tjokrosaputro allegedly also released negative newspaper advertisements related to Goldman's reputation, according to Reuters.
