Pokémon Go has finally made its way to South Korea, and fans are happier than ever. The launch in Korea has been problematic since Google Maps is restricted throughout the country due to safety regulations. “We have waited very long and worked very hard to launch Pokémon Go in South Korea,” Pokémon Korea CEO Jae Boem told Reuters. While the app only officially launched just now, devoted Pokémon fans have found loopholes to play the game in remote locations.
