Italy hotel sent warning before avalanche hit

The manager of the Rigopiano Hotel in Italy told officials that guests of the hotel were worried about earthquakes before the avalanche hit. Bruno Di Tommaso's concerns emerged in an email that was published by Italian media as rescuers arrived on the scene. While nine survivors have been rescued, at least six people have been killed and 23 remain missing. The avalanche, which weighed around 120,000 tons, hit the hotel at a speed of 60 miles per hour.
