White House Chief Of Staff Reince Priebus has accused the media of attempting to ‘delegitimize’ Donald Trump’s presidency.

The new White House Chief of Staff has accused the press of attempting to undermine the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s presidency.
Reince Priebus told Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, “...there is an obsession by the media to delegitimize this president.”
He continued, “...and we are not going to sit around and let it happen.”
Priebus mentioned two specific cases where he claims the media misrepresented information:  the first involved the estimated crowd size at Trump’s inauguration which he says has been undercounted.
However, many media outlets have pointed out that estimates based on various data points don't support the claims by Trump's team.
CNN notes, "Aerial photos have indicated that former president Barack Obama's first inauguration attracted a much larger crowd. Nielsen ratings show that Obama also had a bigger television audience."
The second case mentioned by Priebus was a report alleging that a bust of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was no longer being displayed in the Oval Office, but the story has since been retracted.
Trump has long expressed his own displeasure about the media in the past, tweeting on December 5, “If the press would cover me accurately & honorably, I would have far less reason to ‘tweet.’ Sadly, I don't know if that will ever happen!”
