When renowned investor Warren Buffett, a vocal Hillary Clinton supporter, was asked about President Donald Trump during a recent interview with CNBC, he commented that the U.S. will be just fine because the country has the "secret sauce."
When renowned investor Warren Buffett, a vocal Hillary Clinton supporter, was asked about President Donald Trump during a recent interview with CNBC, he commented that the U.S. will be just fine because the country has the "secret sauce."
He also said, "America works...I've said this before. It'll work wonderfully under Hillary Clinton, and I think it'll work fine under Donald Trump."
Buffett continued, "It doesn't work all the time perfectly...but you just look at where we go, milestone after milestone. Never bet against America."
Last year, right after the election, he had also called for unity in the wake of a divisive contest.
He told CNN, "I support any president of the United States. It's very important that the American people coalesce behind the president."
Buffett further noted, "That doesn't mean they can't criticize him or they can't disagree with what he's doing maybe. But we need a country unified...He deserves everybody's respect."
