Driver Falls Asleep, Slams Car Into Wendy's

According to a Facebook post by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office in West Virginia, on January 15, a driver who had fallen asleep ended up crashing into a Wendy's restaurant.


Here's another instance which reminds us that it is best to avoid driving when feeling sleepy.
According to a Facebook post by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office in West Virginia, on January 15, a driver who had fallen asleep ended up crashing into a Wendy's restaurant.
The post noted, "...the driver of the vehicle fell asleep while traveling in the far right lane...crossed the northbound lanes of traffic, went over the curb, across the parking lot, and ran into the building at the entrance and exit doors becoming lodged in the doorway."
Thankfully, no one was injured.
The sheriff's office further remarked, "The building suffered significant damage, there were no injuries in this crash, and it was NOT drug or alcohol related."
