Report: Millennials worth has much as baby boomer parents at same age

A new report by the Young Invincibles found that millennials are worth roughly half as much as their baby boomer parents were at the same age. The report, based on data from the Federal Reserve, found that millennials between the ages 15-34 in 2013 were worth roughly half as much as the boomer generation and earned about 20 percent less in comparison to young adults in 1989. Young adults in 2013 earned roughly the same amount of money as those who had no degree in 1989: $50,000. Millennials net worth was $10,900, compared to $25,035 at the same age.
