Sean Hannity of Fox News has called his tweet of approval to the comment ‘Make Russia Great Again’ an “honest mistake.”

Sean Hannity of Fox News has called his tweet of approval to the comment ‘Make Russia Great Again’ an “honest mistake,” reports the Washington Examiner.
On Sunday, Hannity wrote ‘Amen’ in response to the Twitter posting, “…All Americans must join together to MAKE RUSSIA GREAT AGAIN. Teamwork!!”
The riff on the Trump slogan was made by a user named Donnie L’il Hands.
Hannity swiftly deleted the endorsement, but not before screenshots of the exchange were taken and widely shared.
Later in the afternoon, he tweeted, “Guilty. And you are 100% correct. My mistake and I erased it and humbly apologize.”
Hannity’s Twitter gaffe comes amid criticism regarding his recent "softball" interview with WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange, notes Mediaite.
