Rocking Farhan Akhtar, who is the son of screenwriter Javed Akhtar, began his career in Bollywood by working as an assistant director in "Lamhe" and "Himalay Putra". After that, Farhan made his directorial debut in 2001 with "Dil Chahta Hai", and started his acting career in 2008 with "Rock On!!".
