Steelers assistant coach arrested after bar incident

Pittsburgh Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter was arrested Sunday night after an altercation with a police officer, hours after the team beat the Miami Dolphins in a AFC Wild Card Playoff game, the team confirmed. Police were called to the scene following reports of an “an unruly customer who was in the process of assaulting the doorman” at the Flats, a bar and grill. Porter is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest and public drunkenness, according to a statement from the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety.
