Hospital confirms Trump's son helped raise $16.3M

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. said Eric Trump helped raise $16.3 million in fundraising over the past decade. "I am amazed by the many ways that you have personally embraced our cause for our children and families,” Richard C. Shadyac Jr., president of hospital’s fundraising organization, wrote in a thank you letter to Eric Trump. Shadyac's letter verifies Eric Trump's claim that his organization raised more than $15 million for St. Judes, according to the New York Times. Eric Trump noted that he would "continue to be a vocal advocate for pediatric cancer and St. Jude’s mission" in an email to The Times.
