Trump acknowledges funding for Mexico wall may come from congress

President-elect Donald Trump revealed Friday that he and House Republicans are considering asking Congress for money to build a wall along the border of Mexico. According to Politico and The Associated Press, Republicans are considering acting under a 2006 law that allows for a physical barrier on the southern border. The request for funding is expected to happen through the next spending bill, which must pass by the end of April. Trump would later respond to critics on Twitter that he is now backing off his promise of making Mexico pay for a border wall.
