Senators introduce bill to move US embassy to Jerusalem

Republican Senators introduced a bill on Tuesday to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The plan, which President-elect Donald Trump supports, has stirred up controversy as the rift between Israelis and Palestinians intensifies. The bill was introduced by Nevada Sen. Dean Heller, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. "Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel, and that's where America's embassy belongs," Rubio said in a joint statement announcing the bill.
