Ram Gopal Varma And Nathalia Kaur Talk About 'Dan Dan' Song From 'Departmentnt'

Director Ram Gopal Varma said that item numbers are the kind of songs that remain in mind even two or three years after the film has released and that after 'Khallas' in 'Company', he had stopped focusing on songs in his films till now. Varma also praised Nathalia Kaur for her performance and said that the minute he had seen her at an event, he was sure that she would perform the role ably. Talking about his film, Varma said that this film is very 'mass entertainer' unlike his other gangster films like 'Satya' and 'Company'. On her part, Nathalia Kaur said that she enjoyed working with Ram Gopal Varma as the director exactly knew what he wanted and could also express what he wanted in a clear and concise manner to her, which was very helpful to her. She further said that after seeing the song, people have started liking the character to such an extent that when they meet her, they can hardly believe that she is the same girl in the song as the character has a life of her own, which is very different from what Kaur is in real life.
