Freida Pinto's Fashion At 65th Cannes Films Festival, 2012 Red Carpet

Frieda Pinto, who shot to instant fame with her portrayal of Latika in the Oscar winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire', didn't quite impress the audiences at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.
Freida, who is counted as one of the most stylish women of the world, was not at her fashionable best while strutting the Cannes red carpet. For the opening ceremony Freida slipped into a gown by designer Michael Angel.
The gown had a multi-coloured crystal encrusted bodice and a pale pink skirt, with a thigh high slit. The belted gown had ruffles on the waist which gave a peplum effect. The dusky beauty completed her look with a Louis Vuitton clutch and silver sandals from LV. Though we liked her gown, it was her platform heels that gave us the ultimate eyesore. Her make-up and hairstyle, thankfully, were done really well and she rounded up her look with jewels from Chopard.
For the opening dinner, Pinto came decked in a sequin Versace number. The full-sleeve garment had a sheer neckline and like her previous attire, this gown too had a thigh high slit. The global star's hairstyle was very similar to her day appearance, but we loved her hot pink lips. We aren't drooling over her gown but this time again it was her satin pumps that marred the look.
All in all it was a very average outing for the fashionista. And now, all eyes are set on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Indian style diva Sonam Kapoor
