Anil Kapoor Uneasy With Abusive Language In 'Shootout At Wadala'

Actor Anil Kapoor might have played the rowdy tapori in many of his earlier films, but it seems his stint with Hollywood has made him turn over a new leaf! Sources claim that Kapoor, who will be seen playing a tough cop in Sanjay Gupta's Shootout At Wadala developed cold feet about certain dialogues, that were quite abusive. Not only this, Kapoor also requested Gupta to change the dialogues as he claimed to be uncomfortable with the abusive language. Confirming the news, Sanjay Gupta said that Anil had reservations about mouthing such lines and the director took a creative call as even he felt that the movie would have been unnecessarily heavy on expletives. Based on a chapter from the book Dongri To Dubai by crime reporter S. Hussain Zaidi, Shootout At Wadala, which dramatizes the first ever recorded encounter in the history of the Mumbai Police, also stars John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee, Tusshar Kapoor and other actors.
