Esha Gupta: 'Prakash Jha Likes Deglaming Glamorous Actresses'

Esha Gupta, who is high on the success of her last release Raaz 3, is now looking forward to the release of her upcoming film Chakravyuh. Esha will essay the role of an IPS officer in the movie, which is based on the issues of Naxalites. Though Esha is known for her bold and sexy looks, she has gone completely deglam for the film and she gives the credit to her director Prakash Jha for her new avatar. In fact, Esha believes that Jha likes transforming his actresses. "We have deglamed my character. I think this is Prakash sir's habit, I believe he likes taking up this challenge to deglam all the glamorous actresses, so that the audiences can see them in a new light and we can't do that in all films," she stated at the music launch of the film. On being quizzed how her experience was working with the veteran filmmaker, she said, "It was an honour for me to work with Prakash sir... When I was new in Mumbai, I saw Rajneeti and then I used to wonder if I'll ever get a chance to work with him, and when I got a chance to work with him I pounced upon the opportunity. It's a good role and it's a lovely film." Chakravyuh also stars Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles and will release on October 24, 2012.
