Ashish R Mohan: 'I was an eleven-year-old when first 'Khiladi' came'

Ashish R Mohan, who's worked as an assistant director on many films, in the past, is all set to mark his directorial debut with Akshay Kumar starrer 'Khiladi 786' and the newbie reveals that he was just 11-year-old when 'Khiladi' released in 1992.
"I was an eleven-year-old when first 'Khiladi' came, I have grown up watching 'Khiladi' series and I was a huge fan, I didn't know that my directorial debut would be with him (Akshay Kumar)," he stated, at the first look launch of the film.
On being quizzed if he felt any kind of pressure working with such a big star, Mohan said, "It was really great working with him. I didn't feel the pressure, I have worked with Rohit Shetty on almost eight to nine films as an assistant director, so I have worked with various actors. But yes I was a little scared in the beginning because I was working with Akshay sir for the first time. But since the very first day I was very very comfortable working with him and everyone on the sets. In fact, it felt as if we have worked together for last ten fifteen years."
'Khiladi 786' is the eighth film in the 'Khiladi' series and stars Himesh Reshammiya, Asin Thottumkal and Mithun Chakraborty alongside Kumar.
