Himesh Reshammiya: 'Khiladi Is Indian Cinema's Biggest Brand'

We have all heard Himesh Reshammiya singing and most of us have seen him acting too, but now he has added a few more feathers in his cap. Himesh has not only acted in his upcoming film 'Khiladi 786', which features Akshay Kumar in the lead role, but has also written the film and co-produced it. It goes without saying that Himesh has composed the music for the flick and he is quite excited about the movie, as he feels that 'Khiladi' is the biggest brand of Indian cinema. At the first look look launch of the film, the crooner said, "For me biggest high is Akshay ji who is playing the title role. I'm very thankful that he agreed to work with us. Khiladi is Indian cinema's biggest brand and we should be proud of it. There are five 'Spiderman' films and five 'Final Destination' but this is the eighth film of the 'Khiladi' franchise." Himesh is quite sure about the film's success and claims that the film will be thoroughly enjoyed by one and all. "It's an out and out Akshay Kumar film and I'm sure everyone will enjoy it. He's done full justice to this role and he also supported me as a producer and as a brother. We are very grateful to have such a big brand with us and I promise 'Khiladi 786' won't disappoint his fans," the 39-year-old further added. Directed by Ashish R Mohan, the action 'masala' flick is slated to release on December 7, 2012.
