Japan's PM Shinzo Abe offered "sincere and everlasting condolences" to victims of the attack at the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor 75 years ago. "We must never repeat the horrors of war again, this is the solemn vow the people of Japan have taken," Abe said at the historic site. President Barack Obama stood beside Abe as he paid respect to the thousands of men who lost their lives in 1941 at the naval base. The attack on Pearl Harbor left more than 2,400 Americans dead. Obama also paid tribute to the men who lost their lives and vowed alongside Abe to maintain the "alliance of hope" between the two countries.
