Priyanka Fumes At Media, Supports Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan found himself in a political turmoil after an article where he talks about being a muslim published in a magazine. When 'good friend' Priyanka Chopra was asked by a journalist,at a press conference, to comment on SRK's article and the issues surrounding his security, Priyanka turned hostile and lashed out at the media.
Priyanka fumed at the media person saying, "Have you read that article? Nowhere has he written in that article that Muslims feel unsafe in India, at least I didn't read anything like this when I read that. You should do your homework before blowing things out of proportion, just to increase your channel's TRPs. You people should give the right information and not create controversies."
When asked if she feels she would have gotten into more trouble if she had Khan as a surname Priyanka said, "Even after being a Chopra I get into a lot of controversies, like I said before you guys are just trying to create controversies. Journalists like you should be ashamed of yourself, as you are making such a big issue over a last name, in a secular country like India."
Shah Rukh's interview to the publication was critiqued by many but things worsened when Pakistan's Interior Minister Rahman Malik said that India should take care of SRK's security. King Khan however cleared everything in a press conference and also lashed out at Pakistan.
