ACT 8, SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA Part 1
8 DECEMBER - 11 DECEMBER 2016
After successfully hosting the spectacular grand finale to the 2015 season, Sydney will, once again, host the final Act of the 2016 Extreme Sailing Series™ where the season champions will be crowned.

Sydney is the perfect venue to close the season. The racing is held inside the harbour, hosted by the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron. The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron is reserved for private guests, however, shore side spectators will be able to watch the action and cheer on the teams from the public vantage points at Kurraba Point Reserve and Cremorne Point. The north easterly thermal breeze can build quickly in December to offer perfect racing conditions, but Sydney is a busy harbour and the sailors will have to deal with choppy conditions from passing ferries.

Whether it is history, nature, sport, culture, art, cuisine or design that interests you, Sydney has something for everyone. The city is defined just as much by miles of ocean coastline and sandy surf beaches as its exquisite harbour. The city is home to the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, two of the most iconic structures on the planet.

Sydney Harbour has become notorious for providing plenty of thrills and spills as the best sailors in the world go head-to-head
